Two drawers in the sidebar footer hold everything about how The Portal behaves and who you are on the account. The gear opens settings, your avatar opens your profile. Both buffer your edits until you save, so a stray click never half-applies a change.
Settings
App settings. Language sets the portal and app interface language. The metric system switch chooses metric or imperial, applied to every displayed weight and measurement.
In-training guidance. The three coaching-guidance switches, the same ones the gym app respects: warm-up guidance, load guidance and rest-period guidance. Turn off what you program yourself and the app stays quiet on that front. See Where the numbers come from for what each one drives.
Sensor and metrics. Focus metrics decides which metric headlines each exercise group, everywhere numbers are shown. The Enode sensor section sets the set timeout and the distance threshold, with a reset to default.
Product tours. The Show tours toggle re-arms or silences every guided tour.
Help and support. Report a problem, send a diagnostics snapshot, and reach the help centre, all from the bottom of the drawer, which also shows your version.

Your profile
Account. Your name and email. Account owners also see the plan at a glance, covering plan, expiry, device limit and source, all read-only. Everyone else sees their role. This is the quickest answer to "what plan are we on and when does it renew?"
Details. Trainable users carry weight, height, gender and birthdate here. The training estimates use them, so keeping bodyweight roughly current matters for bodyweight-relative loading.
Video storage. Owners with storage access see a cloud storage card: how much video storage is used and available, and a clear action for reclaiming space. Set videos upload from the gym devices and count against the plan's storage, and clearing is destructive and confirmed as such. On the gym device, the same view lives in the app's settings.
Photo, legal and leaving. Change or remove your profile photo, reach the terms and privacy policy, log out, and, where allowed, delete your account, which is confirmed with a one-time code sent to your email.
